According to news sources, beloved feline companion Xiaohwa bolted after her crate was opened for inspection at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City on October 18. Xiaohwa has not been seen since, and her family is frantic with worry. Xiaohwa’s family has every right to worry, because the last cat to escape at JFK turned up after two months and was suffering from internal injuries so severe that he had to be euthanized.

Xiaohwa needs your help! Please contact JFK International Airport and urge airport officials to do everything in their power to locate Xiaohwa and safely return her to her family. Please also urge airport officials to ensure that screenings of live animals are done in a secure room to prevent terrified animals from escaping.
