Harper is now oh so happy. c. Chimp Haven

The pictures you see of these amazing and incredibly intelligent individual animals are just four of the over two hundred chimpanzees now in the care of the staff at Chimp Haven, an IFAW grantee in Louisianna.

I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Some of the chimps at the sanctuary, like Valentina above, are just 3 years old and others range up to 50 years old. Most of them were used in biomedical research, and many were infected with HIV and hepatitis.

All of these animals have suffered and need ongoing special care.

At Chimp haven, Sara, above, and the other chimpanzees live in large habitats where they develop close relationships in complex social groups. They have the freedom, many for the first time in their lives, to make choices about how they will spend each day.

Now, with your support, these chimps receive nutritious diets, have daily enrichment activities and get compassionate care.

Thank you.

Help give these and other chimps a second chance with your donation now.
